Which One is the Best Browser? Firefox vs Google Chrome

Google Chrome vs Firefox web browser

The real competition has been started among different web browsers since the release of Google Chrome in 2008. Let’s see how their strategic attacks affect each other.

Browser Speed:
All browsers have powerful features to compete with each other, but one of the key characteristics of a good browser is speed. In this contest, Google Chrome is far ahead of the Firefox. It uses the Webkit engine layout and its recently released new pre-rendering feature for faster page loading and integrating increased malware detection have made this engine a leader.

Firefox did well to improve its tabs loading and browsing speed in its latest version, but it’s still behind the Google Chrome.

Browser Security:
All browsers have to face the random security problems. Firefox and Chrome both have an anti-malware tool integrated that warns users whenever they visit infected websites. However, Google Chrome deals every tab separately. If one tab is affected with malware or carry infected website, then its “pawned” feature handles it and saves other tabs from that specific infection. This feature is particular with Google Chrome and gives it the edge on Firefox.

Browser Memory:
Memory usage is not a single factor to be considered when it comes to choose a web browser, but again, it is really important for internet marketers.  When the program is running, Firefox uses only half of the memory on RAM than Google Chrome. Users can use different add-ons with Firefox without any difficulty.

The above points help you select a web browser, but it’s quite hard to select one because power users are happy with the use of fast Google Chrome, on the other hand, Internet Marketers are satisfied with Firefox because of its rich ad-on feature. However, smart people use both browsers at a time :)

How to Remove Bad Links with Google’s Disavow Links Tool

Google's Disavow Links ToolGoogle has launched a new, creative, much-predictable and long awaited disavow links tool for webmasters. And the mix reaction is shown by the people of industry. Matt Cutts announced this webmasters tool at PubCon with a detailed list regarding its functionality. Basically, this tool is designed in the wake of penguin for the help of webmasters and that report Google about undesirable inbound links.
After the release of Google penguin updates in April, 2012, SEOs recognized that Penguin penalties were based on inbound link profiles.  This reorganization moved the whole industry to link removal campaigns. In few months, link removal became a new SEO link building technique and webmasters spent more time to remove links and compile their backlink profiles. Clients were increasing the pressure on webmasters to remove their links.
In many cases, it was necessary to remove bad backlinks to get the rankings back in Google search engine results. After the launch of Google’s disavow links tool, the link removal campaigns have come to an end.
Google Disavow Links Tool is open with a large warning, “only use when you are fully confident about your links otherwise this feature can potentially harm your site’s ranking in SERPs”. It’s quite hard to determine how extensive the penalty of algorithm updates can be, but when you see some regular warnings, it’s probably need quick solution.

How to Use Disavow Links Tool

Only advanced webmasters are advised by Matt Cutts to use this tool. It’s very simple to use; just log in to your webmaster tool Account, select the website for which you want to use the webmaster tool and click the Disavow Links (https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main)

After clicking on “Disavow Links” you will be prompted to a new window to upload a text file. Your text file just contains the links list that tells Google which URLs or domains you want in disavow list for your website. And of course yes, you need to create a text file yourself.

You can either ignore the links from a particular domain or simply disavow the links from the pages of a website. Once you upload a link file, it could take few weeks to identify and apply the changes. For webmasters, it takes some time, but it is an important and logical step for Google.

Social Media Marketing - A Must!!

For the millionth time i argued with my brother over the social media importance. My brother is a newbie in the field of business. Now, he ain't anti-social but he sure is an anti-social-media person (he doesn't even own a Facebook account, can you believe it!!).

The day he announced that he'll begin with his own business, i kept on poking him to create pages and links over social media channels. He was of the view that they are a total waste of time. "Who would have time to look up for my name over Facebook & see how many fans i have? Or how many people are following my tweets? People are too busy updating & commenting on their own posts & pictures", he would say.

"It's the youth we are targeting here bro. How can you expect the younger generation to use any other means of information when they spend 95% of their times sitting in front of their screens?", i would ask.

"It's useless..", he would conclude & walk off.

Then, one day, it happened; an event that changed his life & his negativity against the social media. He had a friend (a very good friend, in fact) who moved somewhere abroad. He came to know about my brother's business & promised him a very heavy budgeted project. My brother was very excited about it. He spent days & nights gathering enough resources to make himself impressive & eligible for his upcoming clients. And, of course, he had even bigger plans for the money he'll soon be earning (I had a long list of things too that i'd ask him to get me).

In short, we were waiting anxiously for the clients' call...a week passed...then another week...& another week...& the whole month passed...no sign of the good friend or the heavy budgeted project.

One day, he caught his friend online. Upon inquiry, it was revealed to him that the clients thought a company having no social presence is not strong enough to handle such a big project (having a website was not enough in their view).
& CRASH!! came down my brother's big dreams.

When i came back home that night. I found him waiting for me (it was enough for me to guess that something was not right). A few moments of fumbling & mumbling & finally the truth was revealed to me.

I felt like laughing out loud, pointing to him & say "See, i told yaaa!!", but the dejected look on his face stopped me from doing so.
"So, what do you want from me??", despite feeling sad for him, i asked firmly (I can still get a few items out of the list i made....hahahahaha *evil laugh*).
"Please make accounts for me over the social media channels... I don't know what to do with them. Please manage them on my behalf", he pleaded.

"What?? I don't have that much time... It's a very difficult task", i lied to him.
"Please, i'll pay you...promise", he was near to tears.
"OK OK!! but i'll decide my salary myself", i grabbed the opportunity.
& it was settled.

I created the accounts for him & started managing his business & clients over them...posting new things he added...introducing new clients & projects...answering queries etc.
It took time to make him get noticed but finally we succeeded.
In the end, he got his accounts & a strong base for flourishing his business & i got my greens!!

Let's Change the World!!

You know we developers have the ability to change the world that you live in...wondering how...well, it's simple, by our developments.

Now you must be thinking that our developments are not even impactful enough to change our office environment (where we are tortured day & night), how on Earth can they possibly change the face of the world (underestimating us...hmm??). Let's take a quick tour of our access range:

Let us begin with the areas very near & dear to you...how about the little toy you hold in your hand for texting & making calls & gaming etc. etc. (talking about a simple cell phone here). It was us who provided you with all these facilities. Imagine if we hadn't worked on them...texting would still be writing letters...calls would still need a corded phone...games would still be out in the fields (Ha! i can see the color draining from your face).

Moving to the device you are using right now to read this (or earlier versions of computer). We made that happen too. If it wasn't for us, "browsing" wouldn't exist in any dictionary even. Your studies would totally be based on books & old journals & other stuff; your business would still be restricted to local zones or expensive tours (now you're really turning white).

OK let's move a little bit away from you. Take banks now...you know, where you keep your most precious assets. Suppose we devise a system that will transfer all the money in every bank of the world to our personal accounts, then you will be earning & we will be spending...or let us NOT provide you security & anyone can use up the money in your account (wooah, is that sweat on your forehead??). Imagine what will happen to your economy; rather, the world's economy.

Alright, let's go general (I'm sparing you the horrors of knowing every little detail of how you'll suffer if we wouldn't be around). Every little gadget you utilize, every little technological aspect you exploit is there because WE developed it & if it wasn't for us, you'd still be stuck in the stone age (there, felt a little heart-attack??).

So, as i was saying that we developers can change the face of the world you exist in (better not deny me this time). We have the ability, the power, the knowledge, the access, the rights, the tools & the techniques to mold your every day's life in whatever shape we want...
& we soon will someday
OK, I've to get back to my JAVA code (it's due today so changing the world has to wait)
But I'm telling you that we will change the world someday...someday soon!!
